Eco Systems

For the more ecologically discerning we can provide several low tech inexpensive eco systems.

- Cavity wall constructions: consisting of a 50cm thermal wall with 9cm of cavity insulation. This ensures the finca is warm in the winter and cool in the summer requiring very little additional modern heating or cooling systems.

- Black and Grey Water Separation: a form of separating grey from black water,  the former can then be recycled into the irrigation or toilet flushing systems.

- Passive Cooling System: The shallow void created within the foundations of the house, is half filled with water. This pool acts as a form of cooling system whereby air passing over the water drops in temperature and is directed into the house through vents.
